The easy-to-use Turf-Tec pH Meter is a field instrument that works directly in the soil. The pH Meter foot is adjustable from 1-4 inches deep, so pH readings can be taken at different levels in the soil profile, above the root zone, in the root zone and below the root zone. This will allow a complete pH analysis of the entire root zone. This will aid in determining if incorrect pH within the soil layers are causing problems with nutrient uptake. Probe is simply extended out to desired testing depth and inserted directly into the soil. The pH meter takes only 60 seconds to give readout and is accurate to+/- 0.5 pH point. Unit is also ideal for monitoring surface soil under trees. Unit is lightweight and durable
